Orcas Cove Sea Kayaking is a trip for those seeking a truly authentic Southeast Alaskan experience. Sea Kayaking is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the immense Tongass National Forest. Our small group travels by boat to a remote location where guides and kayaks await. After instruction in sea kayaking from our friendly guides, we glide quietly along the shoreline that is home to many birds and a colorful array of inter-tidal life. Above us, bald eagles nest in the old growth forest. The opportunity to see wildlife is abundant. We may see humpback whales, orcas, porpoises, harbor seals, Stellar's sea lions, mink, deer and even black bears on our tour. After our paddle, we enjoy a picnic of Ketchikan's finest smoked salmon before we return to town by boat.


Misty Fjords Seaplane Executive Adventure

Join us on a flight into the incredible 17 million acre Tongass National Forest and the spectacular 2.2 million acre Misty Fjord National monument. A wilderness of untouched landscape that will take your breath away! You will see massive rock formations and cliffs over 3,000 feet high adorned with ribbons of cascading waterfalls. The highlight of this excursion will be landing on a remote wilderness lake. On shore you will have time to breathe the fresh air and take in the awe inspiring scenery!


Mild - To fully participate may require leisurely walking over primarily even surfaces. There may be a limited number of steps, a minimal amount of cobblestones or uneven surfaces, and some standing for extended periods of time.

Moderate - To fully participate may require extended periods of walking over even and uneven surfaces, steep terrain and/or water activity in a slight current. There may be steps, inclines, cobblestone surfaces, and extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitations should take this into account.

Strenuous - To fully participate may require extended periods of physical exertion, extensive walking, climbing, or biking. There may be numerous steps, inclines, cobblestones, and other rough terrain throughout the excursion. These excursions are the most active and have been designed for participants in excellent health and very good physical condition.
